yeap i’ve reached the point of my life whereby i finally have to stand on my own two feet, earn my own keep, and find financial independence.
sounds easy, yet it’s still a big transition.
sounds immense, yet it’s still a necessity.
sounds forced, yet it’s still an exciting time.
Went for Johnson & Johnson interview last friday. my first interview. it was at Conrad Hotel, and i didnt really perform up to my own expectations. Interviewers were great people though, and really had me thinking on what i want. Was pretty demoralised, but managed to pull myself together after meeting sweets. That was when CF called and told me i actually left a pretty good impression. Hmmm..
Yesterday was my second interview at IBP. i basically went with no expectations, as i treated it as a bonus. this time round, i’m satisfied with myself, and whether i get the job or not, it was a great learning experience.
Yup so tt’s my progress till now… if i get the job, i would really be able to enjoy myself after exams. at least for a month i hope, from may to june. and then i shall get down and proper for working life. wish me luck..

《巴士总站生存道》第七式：牛白迫 (Newpaper)
此上层心法看似简单，但隐藏着许多杀招。若能精通此心法，练者可施行隐身术，变身术，火炎术等。变化之多，只限于练者的创造力，可说是无尽无穷。
要注意的是，此心法不可施展于水里。
基本要求：思想创造丰富，耐心极限。

《巴士总站生存道》第八式：马不罗 (Malboro)
此绝上层法利弊不清，练成者能吞烟吐云，加上毒雾功，有众杀之利害。心法练成者，还可随自己喜欢，将招式改名为‘砍木耳’(Camel)，‘盾合力’(Dunhill) 等等。
要注意的是，此招式进行时，会反噬练者，给身体构成极大压力。用的次数越高，伤害越深。
基本要求：无。

终级心法。练者永远无需出现在巴士界了。

some may beg to differ, but i kinda agree to this statement. In the modern world, voices can be synthesized, melodies can be technologically enhanced, but lyrics must still be the brilliance of human mind. i am one that goes for lyrics, though i cant deny some catchy tunes will always stay in mind even with crappy lyrics.

i think lyrics are like poems. Indeed, i think poems are just lyrics without a melody to be sung with. a song with good lyrics would be ‘Love Me’ by Collin Raye. It could have been sung a thousand different ways, yet the simple touching story of grandparents’ love would not change. ‘Another Day in Paradise’ would be another one i love because of its lyrics. the music is nothing impressive, but the story it tells through the lyrics, goes straight to the heart.

Of course, this post is inspired by the movie ‘Music and Lyrics’ starring Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore. Don’t write it off as a romantic chick flick, because the humour inside is worth the price alone. However, one must be attuned to the British way of humour to really enjoy the movie. and after catching the show, ‘Don’t write it off’ will take on a totally different meaning. overall a 4 popcorns out of 5 for humour and feel good quotient.

Before this, i caught 300, which is like the most entertaining movie in 2007 till now. not the best, but the most entertaining in terms of visual effect, and the no frills plot. Simple and straight to the point, doesn’t try to be something it isn’t. go catch it, i give it 6 popcorns out of 5 for entertainment value!

P.S: movies are best watched with one fly.

had a test, Science of Music. hopefully i can score as well as all the other people given that i spent only about a day on it. was quite easy i must say.

went to FiSh&cO at IMM for the first time, and as usual, seafood platter for 2 is just so satisfying! plus a hot fudge chocolate cake to top it off, it was heavenly to the stomach~ silly gf still say can have another platter for 2 no problem… that gal… loose screws in her head. =P

tmr is human physio test, and i haven done like 1/4 of everything. oh well, it’s just a test. hahaha~

sternum + ribcage were injured today due to errant elbows flying around. The public is advised to report any such sightings to the Department of Stray Elbows (DoSE). Do Not attempt to catch them due to their highly dangerous strike to the mid chest areas.
