我并没有假期。我每天都在学校。甚至比上学时更时常在校园里。不过我很开心，有一群好友跟我一起到学校。我们负责迎新会的筹备，策划等。大家虽然都累坏了，但全部人都带着笑脸。希望迎新会能够非常成功。

oh yeah it is all going pretty much as i hoped it would be! except a few delays due to unforeseen circumstances, it was all very organized with my pal controlling. If you understand Singapore government, i am what you would call the President. A figurehead people look up to, but does not do any real work. =) My pal is the Prime Minister, directing all the Cabinet Ministers (comm members) to push SOW06 to newer heights!

Day 1 was really smooth flowing as the seniors we have are one efficient bunch! Punctuality is, for the first time, one factor that did NOT delay any games. The only waiting time was for the setting up of station games, not the gathering of seniors. (maybe my repeated stressing on it works!) MY comm members, i’m very proud to say, are all people that can stand hard work. I don’t know how many times i’ve said this, but without these people, SOW06 will be a wreck.

I dunno how to say this, but the feeling of standing/sitting in front of a bunch of seniors that actually looks up to you (i hope.. hahaha) is indescribable. You can really get addicted to it. I think that’s what they call mic hogging.. hahaha~ i hope that i have carried myself off well, and the seniors are not put off/lameFied by me!

Tomorrow is the last day of prep camp at Sentosa. There shall be bright sunlight and nice cooling breeze. There shall be bikini babes and cold beer. There shall be a rousing finale to SOW06 Prep Camp.

There shall be Pigs flying…

yup it’s the end of Day 0, and i’m mighty proud of my comm settling almost all the stuff pretty early. the logistics are all packed and labelled, with all station ICs clear (pretty much lah) on their own games. Having a briefing also helped in ironing out details and possibilities of scenarios happening. In the end, let’s just say that i have every faith in SOW06 becoming another benchmark success. and that is not arrogance, just confidence.

Along the way, i’ve lost a few comm members, got back some, then to lose another few. However, i’m still very happy to have those remaining with me, putting up with me, and being very dedicated to SOW06. I must must must say that this is one comm any director would kill for, and i’m just blessed to have them!

Now for the Prep Camp proper!

1) you have known each other for 8+ years

2) you both take the same Major and has nearly identical modules EVERY semester

3) you are called gay buddies (and you dun mind it!)

4) you place complete trust in one another (absolute)

5) you don’t mind going out of the way to just do a simple task, eg buy flowers for his gf (haha might have happened..)

6) you both know stuff about each other your gfs don’t

7) you would kill another person just to get back for him

you have identical MSN nicks

9) you know he is the first one you would ask to your wedding or funeral (through spiritual contact maybe?)

10) you just know.

一整天, 仿佛身在迷雾内. 一脸茫然, 恍惚得很. 一种说不出的无趣, 无聊, 无奈. 原因不明…

或许, 这是人人都会经历的. 或许这是我各人的. 或许根本没有或许.

RAG的巓峰期到来, 很高兴有一大群新生参与. 希望我们能再度夺冠!

new freshies. oh man i KNOW i’m old now. my freshmen last year have their own freshmen! i’m like 1st Generation! ahhaha wonder how people like weidong feel… freshmen’s freshmen’s freshmen. goodness i dun feel up for anymore camps next year… hahahah

unlike SOW05, i had a different batch of seniors this time round. and being a normal senior, i decided to let the OGL and AOGL take the lead… i must say we have very different takes on how to bring the OG together. but at the end of the day, as long as the freshies are happy, then i’m ok lah~

Honestly speaking, BATMAN from SOW05 was more bonded, but that could be due to the differences in programmes and amount of time spent~ hope King Arthur will be as bonded in time to come! i see potential leaders in K.A, so i’ll be keeping a close eye on my successor! haha~

had to play Secret Pal (SP) during SCAMP, and i must say i got a very interesting SP! some words to describe her: Expressive, Cool, Interesting, Pretty (somewhat.. hahaha) She’s definitely different since she’s exposed to foreign culture from studying overseas. anyway we both rate each other very highly, for the interview with Funkygrad we had. so keep a lookout for yuhan’s face on Funkygrad.com! ahhahaha
